Yeshua As Jesus
There was a mistake every time we Christian referred to the name of the Messiah, and it had something to do with the name “Jesus” if we would ask why? “Jesus” was not the name used when he was still alive, but His Hebrew name. It was the name used in the Gospel as their original Greek. It was Yeshua, and even though we would base it in modern English, it was improper to decide Yeshua as Jesus because the name in Hebrew was translated into Joshua.
There Are Other Yeshua’s In The Bible
Another thing, different people were called Yeshua in the Bible. The name was shown 30 times in the Old testament. It also referred to 4 other people. However, we would not call them as Jesus, but instead Yeshua and transliterated as Joshua. The most notable Joshua in the Bible was the person who destroyed the walls of Jericho and conquering Canaanite City. He massacred all the living beings as punishment.
