A Fitting Role
In his whole career, Elliott portrayed many different roles. However, the one that suits him best was his role as grand marshal at the Calgary Stampede parade. His hard work paid off as he managed to attract an audience of around 300,000 people!
The Cowboy
Elliott’s charisma did not only draw women in, but it also made men want to emulate him. Due to his cowboy good looks, he received multiple offers to play different roles in movies about the West. He also joined the cast of The Quick and the Dead(1987), Houston: The Legend of Texas(1986), Tombstone(1993), and You Know My Name(1999). In 2007, he was finally inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
