Raw Veggies
Natalie Suleman had posted this picture on her Instagram and captioned it with, “Could we be anymore vegan?” You got that right. While the six older kids are not vegans, the eight youngest children enjoy eating raw greens. They often have health shakes, chard, bell peppers, red or golden beets and organic kale. They also enjoy eating home-cooked meals with sprouted lentils and quinoa as the main ingredients. Their desserts are also consistent with their vegan diet. They usually have green apple made more flavorful with raw almond butter. Natalie Suleman’s upbringing as an ethical vegetarian made it easy for her to embrace a vegan lifestyle. The switch in her diet also made it possible for her to recover from previous physical conditions brought about by her multiple pregnancies and deliveries. She thinks that this way of life makes family cheat/treat meals all the more worth it.
Complete Family
Taking a picture of Natalie’s complete family – 14 children and their mom – isn’t easy to say the least. So when they are all gathered in one place, it is worth the shot to capture them smiling and laughing. Natalie posted this on Instagram and wrote, “So THIS is what happened when we attempted to take a fun family photo with as many family members as possible. Per usual, Elijah, Amerah, and JJ are absent from the pic.” Good thing she can now easily share so many special moments like this on her social media. However, what makes her posts more interesting is the glimpse it gives us into the life of a single mom who is single-handedly raising 14 children.
