The Sound Of An Echo
He tried to point his flashlight straight ahead toward the end of the tunnel, but he couldn’t with all his might see the end. He had a strong feeling that he wasn’t alone in here, but he didn’t know who could be in there with him. Soon enough, his feelings got confirmed and he heard noises coming from somewhere in the tunnel. His curiosity got the best of him and he decided to follow the noises. He didn’t know this would later be the worst decision he could make.
No Light, No Warmth
He continued walking further and further into the tunnel. There was no definite sign of life, no noises, no other footprints, nothing. He gripped the flashlight as tightly as he could as if it could protect him from danger. He heard the same noise again, but this time it was much louder. He thought he was hearing something specific, like old metal machinery moving around.
