Soon enough he also began hearing voices! The words weren’t clear enough for him to make out what was being said, but Christopher gained the confidence and bravery to yell, “Who’s there?” The only response he received was his echo. Courage filled him and he was determined to see who was hiding in there.

Suddenly he found himself walking through mud and water, and his legs went deeper into the sloshy mix with every step he took. He did manage to spot a yellow ventilation unit, but it looked like it had seen much better days before. There were chains hanging from the ceiling, but those, too looked like they were falling apart.
