As he walked toward the walls, he brushed his hands around the sparkle of the stones he was looking at. He thought, “What if this was gold?” He was soon snapped out of his fantasy dream when he noticed something that worried him; he knew this could change the course of this exploration.

Cold And Damp Inside
Even though it was warm outside, inside of the mine it was cold and quite dewy. He also noticed how deep his leftover footprints in the soil were; this meant that the soil was wet, which indicated that there was a water source inside somewhere. This brought a red flag into his head because he was aware of the fact that random puddles of water in a place like this meant that there might be a gas leak of some sort somewhere around.
