Bruce Jones – Les Battersby from Coronation Street
Bruce Jones has been a regular on Coronation Street since 1997 and left in 2007 after portraying Les Battersby, an outspoken taxi driver. He went on to appear in a few stage productions and television shows after that. Jones has also appeared on reality shows such as Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Wife Swap, but his personal life has been a source of controversy. He was once a suspect in the ‘Yorkshire Ripper’ murders after discovering a body. He was homeless, battling alcoholism, and drunk driving before entering rehab to get his life back on track.
Susan Tully – Michelle Fowler from EastEnders
Who could forget Suzanne Ross, the rebellious teen from the drama series Grange Hill, who went on to play the tough-as-nails single mom Michelle Fowler on EastEnders? Susan Tully did a fantastic job in both of these roles. Tully’s role as one of the original EastEnders characters was visible from the first episode in 1985 until her departure in 1995. Susan gave up acting when she was 9 years old and now works behind the camera, producing and directing television shows.
