Cindy Marshall-Day – Tracey Booth from Crossroads
Dracula: Dead and Loving It, Snakes and Ladders, and Fiddlers Three are just a few of the films in which British actresses appeared before landing the role of Tracey Booth on the soap Crossroads in 2001. Her career did not flourish after leaving the show, despite being only on it for three years. Tony Lane-Roberts, her abusive husband, was in the news because he pointed a gun at her and was arrested after contacting her even though she had a restraining order against him!
Jack Ryder – Jamie Mitchell from EastEnders
Apart from being the namesake of a well-known Australian cricketer, actor Jack Ryder is best known for his role as Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders. From 1998 to 2002, he was a regular on the show until his character was killed off. While Jack’s acting resume is impressive, he would eventually shift gears behind the camera to establish himself as a theatre and film director. He directed The Full Monty and a Causality episode.
