George didn’t note the shift in Crosby’s actions at first. It was more difficult to notice the warning signs because the owner and pet kept to their routines. George, on the other hand, found it out one day. He’d just returned from college. He expected a warm welcome from his furry friend, but instead he saw something that deeply frightened him! He couldn’t seem to get his head around it.

George began to wonder why his furry pal didn’t respond to his calls, and he became concerned that Crosby could be deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf George tried raising his voice level, but the dog remained unresponsive. George knelt beside his dog and examined the part of the wall where his dog was staring intently. What drew Crosby’s attention in the first place?
