His Furry Best Pals
Crosby had no trouble trusting and befriending other species. This was evident in the way he became friendly with his neighbor’s dog and cat. For nearly eight years, the trio got up to all kinds of mischief. His two best friends, on the other hand, died one after the other. Their owner was understandably upset at the loss of two pets so close together, but he was not alone in his sorrow. Crosby was also saddened.
Companionship
Companionship is very important to pets. It is, in reality, one of the reasons for their existence. They place high importance on companionship, so losing it makes them sad. They experience sadness in the same way as humans do. Crosby would understandably be depressed. After all, he had just lost two of his closest mates. This, however, was not the true reason for his actions. Crosby’s behavior was being influenced by something else.
