No AC? No Problem!
After all these images, it’s pretty clear there were tons of people that attended Woodstock. This meant that naturally, traffic into the venue was quite unbearable and at times at a complete standstill. Additionally, back in the 60s, not all vehicles had air conditioners so you can only imagine how unpleasant it must have been sitting and waiting in a hot car. This is why these two took it upon themselves to make the most of it and sit in the hood of their car.

During the 60s, fashion was a huge deal and people wanted to make a statement with their clothes. It was a time where clothing trends represented a sense of freedom. Ladies wore tight, bell-bottom jeans with a cute little crop top. Casual dressing was not just for the women but the men too. So Woodstock was the best place for folks to express themselves through their unconventional fashion choices.
