This picture may seem completely unrealistic, but believe it or not – it’s real! Parents who attended Woodstock with their young kids would gather in different areas of the festival to watch a free puppet show. With all due respect, they needed to keep the young ones happy and entertained one way or another. Despite this being a festival for adults by now we’ve very well realized they had no shame in tagging their children along too.

Monkey Business
The security at Woodstock was pretty chilled, which means that people were able to sneak in anything and everything…including an adorable pet monkey. It’s pretty hard to control a crowd of people that amounts to roughly half a million people, so with all the groovy shenanigans that went on who knows what other animals could have been smuggled in.
