There Will Be Blood follows the story of a miner in the late 1800s and how he went on to become an oil magnate. Daniel Day-Lewis plays the miner-turned-magnate and in the film, he wears waffle soled boots. Thing is though, those only started to exist in the ‘70s, when Nike created them.
