Return Your Leather Furniture’s Shine
Is the gloss on your leather couch or easy chair starting to fade? In a reused spray bottle, combine equal amounts of white vinegar and boiling linseed oil, mix vigorously, and spritz on to restore its original radiance. Apply it evenly with a soft cloth to your furniture, wait a few minutes for it to soak in, and then rub it off with a clean cloth.
Remove Smoke Odor With Vinegar
We’ve shown various methods for removing odor with vinegar, but this one is great when you’ve recently burned a steak or if your chain-smoking aunt made you an unexpected visit. Fill small bowl three-quarters full of white or cider vinegar and place it in the room where the stench is worst to eradicate the remaining smokey odor. Use many bowls if the stink penetrates the entire house. The stench should be gone in less than a day. You may rapidly get rid of the smell of new cigarette smoke within a room by soaking a cloth with vinegar and waving it around.
