No one was surprised to learn that the three of them turned out to be 99% European. This is not the part people could not believe. No, it was actually the breakdown of that European ethnicity. What they learned ended up shocking even the doctors on the TV show.

First of all, Erica found out that she was 16% Irish and British. Meanwhile, Nicole learned that she got 18% for the same ethnicities. It is pretty minor, so perhaps you can also let it slide. However, what came next was not this insignificant.
Unidentical Breakdowns
They initially thought they received accurate test results, but this was not the case! The results from the 23and Me test revealed that they all have French and German heritage as well. However, they all displayed considerably different breakdowns. Nicole got 11%, Erica had 22.3%, and Jaclyn received 18%.

Unlike the first difference, all three statistics showed a rather drastic difference. They were supposed to have identical genetic makeup! On the show, they showed the results on the screen. The members of the audience could not believe what they saw. The sisters were even more confused than they were.
