Bilie and Peggy did not have any solutions or plans to their problems, thus they did not have any answers to their queries. Both of them had made the decision to serve their nation, and now the government had asked them to report for duty. They were in agreement that the pledge pertaining to the army took precedence over the marriage oath that they had taken. They were confronted with the harsh reality of the situation and realized that they would have to shelve their ambitions of beginning a family in order to fulfill the obligations they had made to others. Even though they had been married for a relatively short period of time, they were not the sort to give in or let anyone else down.
