His television appearances in the first few years of his career were what made directors start to notice his talent. In the 70’s, he grabbed more relevant and appealing roles in TV shows such as Mission, Aspen, Mission Impossible, and Once an Eagle. His career on TV started to bloom when he was given the leading role in Evel Knievel.

Finding Love
Before finding success in his acting career, he managed to succeed in another aspect of his life: love. He met Katharine Ross again while filming The Legacy in 1978. Although they had already worked together in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, they didn’t meet again until they were filming The Legacy. In said movie, they realized their attraction to each other and started dating.
