Sam Elliott did not have the chance to change his father’s mind about his career choice. He did admit that he persevered in this industry because of his father’s lack of support. Although he did the other activities that his father loved such as fishing, his father still couldn’t understand his passion for acting. This in a way caused for Sam to feel rejected for some time.

Just recently, Sam has worked in different Netflix productions such as Grace and Frankie. He even produced and starred in his own comedy show there called Ranch.
