“[My friends] said, ‘Man, what’s up with all these purple posts? People love the color purple!’” Fernandez goes on. While this may be true, it is by no means the reason why people have begun to paint their fences purple. So, what is the Purple Paint Law’s purpose? That is exactly what Fernandez’s friends inquired of him.
