No Social Life
As a mom of fourteen children, Natalie Suleman is happier now, enjoying her life by spending quality time with her youngest kids, the octuplets, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, Isaiah, Makai, Maliyah, Nariya, and Noah. Natalie said that she wants her kids to be proud of her and of what she has become. She doesn’t want them to remember her as “Octomom” or the persona it signifies. She told the Daily Mail, “I was forced into doing things I didn’t want to do because I was so terrified I couldn’t support them and give them the life they deserved.”
Natalie Suleman is now at her happiest, despite the trials that come with raising fourteen children. She enjoys every moment with her octuplets, as well as her older children: Elijah (17), Amerah (16), Joshua (14), Aiden (12), and Calyssa and Caleb (11-year-old twins). She described this group as “omnivores.” For her children to have a more stable life, she opted to go back to her hometown, Laguna, Orange County.
A Normal Family
Natalie Suleman is a hands-on mom who has absolutely given up her social life. This means that her relationship with each child is quite close. She told the Daily Mail, “They fight, play, fight and play again like any normal family.” She even described some of them as shy and keep to themselves, just like her. The others, she also mentioned, are quite friendly. One additional challenge is the fact that Aiden is autistic. However, Natalie’s children are not deterred, instead they look after their brother all the time. What’s more? Aiden and Makai are quite close. All fourteen children know that their life at home is quite different from any other typical American home. Natalie has been teaching her children that there’s nothing wrong about being different and that it’s okay. But her life lessons don’t end there.
