Hands In Pockets
Similar to the idea of keeping their rights hands ready, soldiers very rarely will keep their hands tucked into their pockets… even if the movies show you otherwise. Soldiers will usually assume a power stance with their hands on their hips.
Quiet During Announcements
Similar to the idea of the national anthem, when soldiers hear any announcement going off, they will stand quietly to listen to it. They’re used to being quiet when receiving orders – the habit doesn’t stop at a football game or in the aisle of a supermarket.
