When a soldier goes anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE, he or she will suss out the area to find all the exit points. It doesn’t matter if they’re in a restaurant or at a ballpark, they’ve found every exit possible in case of an emergency evacuation.

It’s not what you think, I swear. If a soldier is holding his girlfriend’s hand, don’t be confused if he chooses only to hold her right hand with his left hand. Soldiers have the habit of keeping their “strong” hand available for action.
