Plums
Of course, your first thought would be to put fruit like plums into the fridge. It makes sense if you plan on eating them shortly thereafter, but if you’re trying to store them then it’s best to keep them out of direct sunlight and in a cool place. They’ll remain firm and tasty!
Mint
Unfortunately, mint leaves were not made for really cold temperatures. They thrive in warm climates, so obviously your fridge would not provide them with great conditions. Two options that could help you keep mint fresh for longer. One, store the stalks in an airtight container in the dark. Two, you can put the bottom of the stalks in a cup of water on your kitchen counter.
