When the ‘90s rolled in, rumors came out that he was cheating on her with Marla Maples. In 1990, Ivana filed for divorce and received $20 million in the divorce settlement.

When Melania was asked how she would feel if her husband won the presidency, she was supportive. She shared this with The New York Times: “I would be very traditional. Like Betty Ford or Jackie Kennedy. I would support him.” She is different from the other First Ladies, who stood by their husbands in political endeavors. Melania did not want him to win the presidential race, apparently. A Rolling Stone article quoted her as saying, “It’s not my thing. It’s Donald’s thing.” How interesting is that?
