Did you know that Melania is a police athletic league member and a Goodwill and American Red Cross ambassador? Not only that, but she has worked with Love Our Children USA and the Martha Graham Dance Company. She is different from other First Ladies since she does not use her power for any particular cause. Even though she is involved with various charities, she has not shown this side during their time in the White House. Her philanthropy is not quite as obvious as that of her predecessors.

Can you believe that she is the first Catholic to stay in the White House after the Kennedys? She once visited the Vatican, after which her representatives confirmed that she is Catholic. Melania was baptized in Slovenia, although it was done secretly because of the rules of the League of Communists of Slovenia. President Trump might have referenced his religious identity while campaigning, but she has stayed mum about it. She has, however, said that her visit to the pope is “one I’ll never forget.”
