Guilty As Charged
This dog reminds us of going to see a horror movie as children, covering our eyes at the most terrifying scenes, but then becoming curious and peering at the screen through our fingers after a while. Our guess is that this dog has caused some damage to some shoes or eaten something off the kitchen counter that he wasn’t supposed to, and that he is now hiding in order to escape taking responsibility. The iconic Beatles song “I Get By With a Little Aid From My Pals” says, “I get by with a little help from my friends.” Group efforts frequently result in greater rewards than when we attempt to do tasks on our own — but there are instances when it is preferable to go it alone. Take, for example, this group of people who are playing hide and seek. The most effective method would be to divide the group and send each man – or dog, in this example – on his own adventure to find his own way. While we can appreciate their good intentions, these pups are far too playful to be discrete when they’re in close proximity to one another.
