French-American Leslie Caron was an actress, dancer, and writer who appeared in approximately 45 films. She is well-known for her roles in films like the musicals An American in Paris and Daddy Long Legs. Her performance in Lili earned her a BAFTA Award and a nomination for an Academy Award. Aside from those achievements, she won an Emmy for her appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2006.
