The Thing

While being located in an isolated area in Antarctica a group of researchers stumbles across “The Thing”, which is a massive life-sized parasite that can adapt to the shape or any organism, including humans. This makes the team of researchers feel uneasy being in the presence of one another, as they have no idea if one of them may be the parasite. At first, viewers weren’t sure how they felt about this film, but over time everyone grew to love it and appreciate its depth and complexity.

Pulp Fiction

This film was directed by Quentin Tarantino and stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, and John Travolta; it really doesn’t get much better than this. Though the cast and acting skills are incredible, what really makes this film stand out is the fact that there are so many mini plotlines of the movie that have nothing to do with one another, yet somehow they make their way together by the end. You have no idea what the next step in the movie will be, and it does such a good job of keeping you intrigued. Not to mention the soundtrack that everyone knows and loves.
