2001: A Space Odyssey
This film that was a playoff of Arthur C. Clarke’s “The Sentinel” follows a spaceship to Jupiter after human evolution was found to be disrupted. What makes this film stand out amongst the rest is the fact that it touches on things that most movies stay away from, like evolution and existentialism. The filmmakers really made it as real as it can get by using sounds and dialogues sparingly to make viewers think they were in space. This movie has been said to be one of the most influential movies ever made.

The Big Lebowski recalls the story of someone called “The Dude”, who is played by Jeff Bridges. He finds himself struggling in every which direction to buy a new rug. There is so much going on in every minute of this movie, which leaves viewers just as confused as “The Dude” is. The out-there characters of this movie are what won over viewers, on top if its funny and light-hearted script that will leave its fans reciting lines from the movie in their everyday lives.
