The 1994 movie has earned over $677 million around the world and won an Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Actor in a Leading Role. This film didn’t just win over the hearts of those in America, but all around the world people were running head-first to get a ticket.

Usually, sequels to movies are not nearly as good as the first one, but this was a rare occasion when the sequel of the film was done quite well. The cast included amazing actors like Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and was directed by Francis Ford Coppola, so already you know it will be good. The first installment of The Godfather was such a big hit that Paramount Pictures didn’t even think twice about creating a sequel. At first, Coppola was unsure about the fate of this sequel film, but after rewriting parts of the script he knew it would be incredible.
