Past midnight
The first thing that came to her attention was that the alarm clock on her bedside table had passed the midnight mark. Even though she didn’t think the light was on, she was curious and wanted to check anyway. When she saw that the light had been turned on, it came as a surprise to her. Abby did observe movement while she was inside the shed. While her mother was sleeping, it appeared that her father had returned to the shed.

Abby’s interest was piqued as a result of this. Her mother had been lied to by not just her, but also by her father. She quietly sneaked out of her room and made her way to her parents’ room, where she checked to see if her mother was still present, and she saw that she was. After that, Abby quietly left the house through the rear door and descended the stairs.
