As mentioned, Elvis Presley was really interested in firearms, perhaps as much as he was interested in guitars but he wasn’t exactly the most careful firearm owner in the world. Singer Tom Jones, one of the King’s friends, said he once stumbled upon a gun which Presley had allegedly just left lying around in a dressing room. Ginger Alden, one of Presley’s ex-girlfriend, also recounted another incident where the king of rock ‘n’ roll fired at a TV set – talk about eccentric. Apparently, these weren’t the only incidents where Elvis Presley and guns were involved since Alden recounted another event that is even stranger.

It’s fair to say that if you’re a star, living on the edge becomes something you are able and tempted to do. According to Presley’s ex-girlfriend, one incident involving the music legend and firearms seems to be pretty much a close call. As recounted by Ginger Alden, Presley apparently shot a bullet into the headboard of their bed while she slept to get her attention.
