Apparently, Elvis Presley was a germophobe. You read that right: The rowdy, Rock ‘n’ Roll legend and man’s man was scared of germs according to what Priscilla told the Daily Mail back in 2015. The star even went to great lengths just to make sure that he was protected, such as taking his own silverware when eating at other’s homes, which is something that he actually didn’t like. Priscilla said, “he would drink where the handle was, knowing that no one would ever drink at that side.”

The image of an eccentric rock star isn’t complete if they don’t have an exotic pet, and Elvis Presley, being the king of all the rock stars, had a truly one of a kind pet. He owned a really active chimpanzee named Scatter. The name was really fitting seeing as the chimp often ran around the parties at Presley’s Graceland mansion screaming and thus, startling guests who were often clad in Hawaiian shirts or suits. Apparently, Scatter learned a couple of naughty tricks, among which earned him a punch to the chin from one of Presley’s female friends, and if you think that’s wild, there’s actually more.
