As you’re aware, Elvis and Priscilla’s marriage only lasted a few years before the two went their separate ways. Priscilla was 27 years old when they called it quits, claiming she needed to focus on finding herself. She was quoted recently saying, “we truly lived in a bubble…I didn’t have my teenage years as a normal girl…I just kind of followed what he did…I did not divorce him because I didn’t love him. He was the love of my life, truly…If anything I left because—and I still loved him—I needed to find out what the world was like.”

A Documentary
Priscilla Presley has recently announced that a documentary called Elvis Presley: The Searcher will be produced in memory of her love, Elvis. Never-before-seen video footage will make up most of the film, along with interviews of those closest to the King. In the documentary, Priscilla speaks on her ex-husband’s death, “I was still shocked. It was just too hard to believe…seeing the streets lined up on both sides all the way to the cemetery. You’d see glimpses, you’d see people crying, hysterical, fainting…that’s how impactful he was”.
