Ever heard of R&B singer Barry White? Believe it or not, he turned to music thanks to Elvis. While serving a jail sentence for stealing tires, he heard Elvis’ “It’s Now Or Never” on the radio and decided then and there that music was his calling. Barry White went on to become an award-winning singer and performer…all thanks to Elvis!

Music Class Grade
Back when Elvis was in 8th grade, he took a mandatory music class. You’d expect the King to get an A++++, right? Wrong! Elvis got a “C”, which in his school was considered a fail! We’re not too sure how he received such a low mark, but our best guess is his rebellious nature or lack of a good teacher. We can’t imagine the look on his teacher’s face when he became famous!
