Peter Dean – Jeff Bateman from Coronation Street

Peter Dean is best known for his roles in EastEnders, Woodentop, and Coronation Street as Pete Beale, Sergeant Jack Wilding, and Jeff Bateman. Although EastEnders gave Peter his big break, he’s also appeared on Law and Order, Shoestring, and Murder by Decree. Peter’s character on EastEnders was killed off after his contract with the producers was terminated due to creative differences. He tried to start a production company after leaving the show, but it did not work out. Since then, his TV credits have been few and far between.
