Step-Siblings
Many men and women stated in the book of the New Testament might be Jesus’ half brother or sister. There might be a chance a child was born in the past relationship of the Messiah’s father, Joseph, with other women. For example, their so-called brothers and sisters might have been his mother and father, nephews, and niece.
Misinterpretation
This type of confusion might have been because of some faulty translation over the centuries. The words in the New Testament that were soon translated as “brother” and “sister” literally meant a lot of things in its exact language in which they were written. It could not be helped, then, that there might have been some misinterpretations compared to the original text.
