Free Of Charge

In this day and age, it’s virtually impossible to find a concert or festival that is completely free. Tickets are generally sold out well in advance, which is exactly what happened in the 60s with Woodstock. As a matter of fact, Woodstock organizers sold 186,000 tickets before the main event happened, nonetheless word spread like wildfire that nobody was checking tickets at the gates. So more and more people turned up and this picture is the end result.

Hang Out & Chill!

Since this was a 3 full day festival and some people attended Woodstock spontaneously, they needed to wash their clothes at some point. Here we see a picture of people who had just washed their clothes and hung them up near the tents to air dry overnight. Although there were many people who actually opted to go without clothes, these people seemed to be more level-headed.
