Simón Bolívar
Simon Bolivar is a Venezuelan military leader who was important during the revolution against the Spanish empire. Born into wealthy, he went to Spain to study and joined the resistance there. After France invaded Spain, they started calling him “El Libertador” or The Liberator. He died of tuberculosis.
