Steve McQueen could not escape being questioned for the questionable fashion choices in this film. Even though the movie is a tale of British Commonwealth prisoners of war escaping from Germany during World War II, the actor donned khakis and a cut-off shirt. Makes us think that the film was set in the ‘90s, which, of course, wasn’t.

Set during World War II but filmed in 1968, this movie stars Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood, and Ingrid Pitt. Even though it appears that the producers have made a war movie that is loved all over the globe, it looks like they have also made quite a big mistake. They styled Pitt’s hair in ‘60s fashion. The actress plays a German waitress named Heidi. Not very period orientated, don’t you think?
