This motion picture tells the story about the lives led by African American women who lived in the south during the 1930s. It is based on the novel by Alice Walker. Even though it isn’t a big catch in wardrobe, there is still a snag. In the film, Danny Glover can be seen sporting a clip-on tie in a scene set in 1916. However, this kind of tie wasn’t invented until ten years later.
