Metals, pesticides, and industrial waste are found in abundance not just in the soil, but also in the streams.
Organic food
Organic food must meet certain requirements. The rules in China differ from those in the United States and the European Union. There are essentially no regulations governing organic food production there. When it came to deceitful labeling to avoid foreign customs, farmers and inspectors frequently collaborated. This is why a lot of Chinese cuisines marketed as “organic” isn’t always what it claims to be.
