Jonathan didn’t come up with a different thought till he had continued walking. The animal might not have been indigenous to this region or woodland. Although a monkey wouldn’t be indigenous to this area, it would at least make a little more sense. How did the animal get here if it wasn’t local to the area? Humans were once more the only response that made sense.

Whatever the creature was, Jonathan would take care of it and find it the assistance it required. The monkey would most likely be accepted by a shelter, but first, it needed to see a doctor. It took a half-hour to drive to the city. Until then, Jonathan hoped the creature would remain safe. The outside was growing darker.
