If you think Sam Elliott is only cool on the big screen then you’re totally wrong! In 2015, a TMZ reporter stopped Elliott while he was on his way from the grocery store to his car. The questions the reporter was asking were far from interesting for him. In true Sam Elliott coolness, he just deflected every question with a cool response. One example was when the reporter said, “You know I see you more than my family, more than my uncles… my dad…” to which Elliott responds, “That’s your bad, not mine.”

Elliott is known to be straight-talker, never holding back what he wants to say. When a group of “overzealous” fans were asking for his autograph once, he complied happily. At one point though, a fan asked him to sign more and more things and that was when he had enough. He said, “When you take advantage of me, and you want me to sign more than one, it just ****s the whole thing!” He wears his heart on his sleeve.
