Just who are these mystery men who had so much cash that they could afford to leave tips like this one? Why did they do this act of kindness to the Seagrape Café staff? The men said that they were members of a group that went by “Tips for Jesus.” Its mission? To do “The Lord’s work, one tip at a time.”

It turns out that this wasn’t the only time this sort of thing happened. Christofer Nardelli owns this four-year-old restaurant. He explained that the said customer lives in this area and goes to the bar several times each month. His favorite thing on the menu is the gumbo, which comes with an andouille and chicken base with a dark roux. It goes well with an Old Chub Scotch Ale!
