Not The Furniture
There was a catch about buying the property, however. Whoever ended up winning the auction did not inherit the furniture in the price! We are sure that the furniture pieces played a huge part in the design and feel of the place, so we hope they read the fine print to avoid disappointment. Joyce’s daughter wanted the furniture for herself and got it as part of her inheritance. We bet she has a lot of memories with those antiques that had been there ever since she was young. There is no denying that it impacted how the house must now look. Regardless, we are sure the place is still worth it.
After Seven Decades
Joyce was only 24 years old when she moved into the house at 148 Jane Street. She had lived there for seven decades before she decided it was time for something else. She went through most of her life in that home but never failed to neglect the house. The simple brick house looked nothing special from the outside, although her skills at decoration and interior design turned it into something else completely. Joyce spent a huge chunk of her later years in the master bedroom. Despite this, it still looks immaculate. The chairs look like no one ever sat down on them. Meanwhile, the bed looks completely brand new. Who would have thought they came from the ‘40s? Whoa.
