Not All Bad
On the upside, they thought they lucked out on the location of the house. No matter what was inside of it, this fact should make up for it. The area was somewhere the housing prices had been climbing for quite a while already, so they knew they could sell it at a good price. After all, location is one of the most important things when it comes to real estate. After they ended the phone call with Joyce, they started to do some numbers crunching to see how much they could get for the property. The figure they came up with was even higher than they initially thought, so they were pleased to see that it was going to mean profit for the company. At last, the only thing to do then was to find the time to inspect the house and see what had to be done before putting it on the market.

Joyce’s house was located in the Old Mill neighborhood of the city, which was considered the ideal location of many Torontonians. The other houses they sold in the neighborhood fetched them impressive prices. However, they had no idea at the time just how much money they could get for it. After doing the calculations, they estimated that the property was worth a whopping $968,000.
