Don’t be surprised if a soldier gets annoyed by a Hollywood war movie. It can never resemble exactly what they’ve experienced. This doesn’t mean to say that they can’t enjoy an action film, only they see the incongruities.

If the person in the next toilet stall is whistling as they’re tinkling, they are or were probably a soldier. Where this musical tradition came from is still a mystery, but it is common military practice.
