Helen Mirren At The BAFTA Awards (1983)
At the BAFTA Awards, the actress went matchy-matchy. She was wearing a white gown, a blazer and a cap. She was nominated on five occasions. For her role in the 2006 film The Queen, she won Best Actress. The BAFTA Fellowship, a lifetime achievement distinction and the highest recognition the Academy will bestow, has also been presented. Alfred Hitchcock was the inaugural winner of the award. Fellowship winners have mostly been directors of films.

Mirren posed with Patrick Stewart at the 1994 Annual Drama Desk Awards, founded in 1955, wearing a blue corset and a white skirt. In New York stage productions, the awards recognize exceptional performances by theatre performers. The awards are decided on and given by theatre reviewers, editors, publishers, theatre reporters and broadcasters. In 2015, for her performance in The Crowd, Mirren received Best Actress’s competition in a Script.
