She allowed her son to rest when she looked for his lunch box immediately. When she opened it, she saw a vacant container that made her smile because Kyler ate the meal that she was preparing. The next thing she saw was her note, but eventually, her smile disappeared when she found out that another note was inside the dinner box. It was not her handwriting nor Kyler’s, so she figured it was from the teacher.
